Following Jule and Dennis’s civil wedding ceremony in spring in the Chinese Garden in Mannheim’s Luisenpark, they chose ‘double happiness’ as the theme for their church wedding. 双喜 means ‘happiness and joy’ and is a Chinese symbol for marital good luck. For any true Sinophile this is of course the obvious wedding theme and it appeared throughout the wedding from the invitations and decorations to the specially designed wedding album. „I like Chinese“ von Monty Python wurde bei der Hochzeitsfeier im C-Five dann auch öfter gesungen.
Die kirchliche Hochzeit wurde in der wunderschönen Jesuitenkirche in Mannheim mit einem katholischen und evangelischen Pfarrer gefeiert. I really like this church, especially as it is so spacious and light. This was my second assignment as a wedding photographer at C-Five in Mannheim and what made it an even nicer experience for me personally was that the staff at C-Five addressed me by name because they remembered me.
