We’ve had such changeable weather this wedding season, it’s unbelievable! It means I await almost every weekend with as much trepidation as my bridal couples and hope that we can look forward to celebrating a wedding without getting wet. Two days before Marion and Stefan’s marriage the weather forecast was still pretty worrying. Luckily, on the wedding day itself the sun came out again and even did its best to outshine the bride, so I was able to photograph a dream wedding in fabulous weather with temperatures up to 38 degrees.
The bridal couple chose Cantina Majolika in Karlsruhe as their venue for both the ceremony and the celebrations afterwards. The Mediterranean flair of the venue was a perfect choice for this gorgeous summer’s day and the Majolika team surpassed themselves with their lovingly arranged decorations.
We had already met up before the ceremony for the formal portrait session so we had time to take a little detour to Karlsruhe’s Rheinhafen to take some portrait shots in a special setting.
Wedding guests from a number of different countries attended the celebrations and one of the highlights of the evening was experiencing an original Peruvian dance.
