A German-American Marriage at Hambacher Schloss05 Jun 2014, by Wedding Photographer in
It was barely eight weeks before their wedding that Laura and Sven from Chicago first got in touch with me. They had stumbled across my website while looking for a photographer for their wedding, and after exchanging a few mails and a chat on the phone it became clear that I would be the one to document their wedding in Germany.
Their church wedding took place in Neustadt an der Weinstraße and after this shuttles took the guests up to Hambacher Schloss, where the celebrations went on into the early hours.
In true American style, the groom waited at the altar accompanied by ten groomsmen and seven bridesmaids walked down the aisle followed by the bride and a very cute ring bearer. The groom’s guys had a great surprise in store later when they unbuttoned their shirts during the group photo session to reveal that they were superheroes.
Laura’s red wedding dress was, of course, an absolute head-turner.
